26 March 2026 • Students from Great Lakes College (Forster) joined TUC for an EduVenture excursion exploring careers across our region.

19 March 2026 • Chatham High School CHACE Students recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Charles Sturt University, with the support of Taree Universities Campus. 

18 March 2026 • Students in Years 9 and 10 from Taree High School joined TUC for a Career Industry Excursion designed to expand their perspectives and ignite curiosity. The day saw students venture beyond the classroom to experience real-world workplaces firsthand.

Our EduVenture program has been busy this term, providing students with hands-on opportunities to explore future pathways and career possibilities.

This week, Evan and Gemma attended the Students Transitions Achievement Retention & Success (STARS) Conference in Cairns. As first-time attendees, they immersed themselves in a range of workshops, connecting with colleagues across the sector and exploring innovative approaches to student support.

The EduVenture team were excited to host UoN and ANU ambassadors last week and got to hit the road to visit schools.

Year 9 students from Chatham and Wingham High Schools had an exciting opportunity to experience university life firsthand during a visit to the University of Newcastle’s Callaghan Campus.

Local High School students enjoyed a day out at Taree TAFE this Term with TUC. Students were lucky enough to see TAFE in action, learn about the huge variety of courses on offer and to hear a bit more about opportunities such as the YES program and SBAT programs.

The Federally funded Program ‘EduVenture’ will be launched next week, and sees Taree Universities Campus (TUC) partnering with the Australian National University (ANU), to bring together Student Ambassadors, local recent school leavers, and local employers to engage in activities and share stories with six high schools across the MidCoast LGA.
