Business Breakfast with Adam Spencer

TUC recently hosted a well‑attended business breakfast focused on the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business and everyday life.

Local industry leaders, business owners and community partners came together to hear keynote speaker Adam Spencer unpack the GPT revolution — from the basics of generative AI through to the newest applications transforming workplaces. Adam drew on his 25 years of experience in television, radio and major events to deliver an engaging, insightful and often entertaining presentation. He guided attendees through the strengths, risks and emerging opportunities of AI, offering clear, practical examples that resonated strongly with the audience. The session concluded with a lively Q&A discussion, where participants explored AI’s potential, its pitfalls, and what responsible adoption looks like for local businesses and schools. Attendees left with fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of how AI is shaping the future of work.
