Exploring the many pathways available in Vocational Education and Training

Parents and students recently took part in a workshop exploring the many pathways available in Vocational Education and Training (VET).

They learned about SBATs, TVET courses, and post‑school apprenticeships, gaining a clearer picture of how these options can support their future goals. The session also shared an understanding of how Registered Training Organisations and NSW State Training Services support young people as they move into training and employment. Participants heard real stories from local employers and student ambassadors, who shared their experiences and the opportunities that vocational learning has opened for them. Students finished the workshop with a Q&A session, asking thoughtful questions and showing strong interest in exploring vocational pathways further.
