Year 9 Industry Mentor Session at MCCC

Connecting students with local industry mentors is an important part of EduVenture. We recently visited Mid Coast Christian College with three volunteer mentors to share their career journeys with Year 9 students.

Students heard from Damien of Approach Finance, Lauren of Well-Suited Group and Keira, a scientist in Mid Coast Council’s water department. Each mentor shared their pathway from Year 9 to their current role, including the experiences and influences that helped shape their choices.

Students were keen to learn and ask questions, discovering the many study and career pathways available here on the Mid North Coast.
