Maths Beyond the Classroom Workshop with Adam Spencer

Senior Mid Coast high school students with a passion for Maths recently joined Adam Spencer at Taree Universities Campus for an energetic and hands‑on workshop.

Adam guided students through a series of fun, challenging mathematical activities, encouraging them to think creatively, experiment with problem‑solving techniques, and explore the real‑world applications of maths in science, technology and innovation. With his trademark humour and enthusiasm, Adam created an engaging learning environment where students felt confident to participate, collaborate and stretch their thinking.

The workshop offered a unique opportunity for students to learn from one of Australia’s most recognised maths communicators and left them inspired about the possibilities that STEM pathways can open.
