Masters of Research, (Western Sydney University), Masters of Horticulture

What is your professional background & experience?

I am a cultural researcher by training and currently a research scholar at Western Sydney University. My PhD research is on how people find jobs in the new economy employment market. I am looking at the challenges for migrants and graduates from regions to find employment and remain employable.

I am interested in knowing how transitioning graduates navigate the art of presenting themselves as the right candidate for the job. Their resumes, social media profiles and highlighting the right attributes that suit the job profile, among many other things, become part of this presentation. I hold a Master of Research degree from the same University, and I have ten years of professional experience supporting transitioning graduates from indigenous communities in India. I have another masters degree in Horticulture.
