What is your professional background & experience?
I grew up in Forster-Tuncurry and have always thought of it as home. After leaving school, I needed to move in order to be the first in my family to complete a university degree. While my study has taken me all over Australia and the world, I still think back fondly on my days at Forster High and working for Bi-Lo in Tuncurry! I’ve recently moved back closer to the region, and it helps me feel connected back to the community in which I grew up and love!
What are you excited about bringing to our Campus?
I am excited to see each person through their career journey. I enjoy meeting with people and talking through their dreams, aspirations and seeing these come to fruition! While I was fortunate enough to be in the situation where I could pursue my dreams, I know that it isn’t for everyone. As a career development practitioner, I want to see people find their happy space. I want to see more people in the MidCoast region complete their post-school courses and achieve the jobs of their dreams! This area is brimming with potential, and I want to see this area grow to the fullest it can be. TUC helps people achieve their goals while being connected to their home communities.
