Campus Administration

Diploma of Counselling

What is your professional background & experience?

Once I graduated Year 12 in Narrabri NSW, I moved to the Mid North Coast and completed a Cert IV in Massage Therapy and started up my own massage business. I then studied Community Services and worked as a Disability Support Worker – a role I absolutely loved. I have always been drawn to providing care for people and found my passion in these supportive, compassionate and healing spaces. I am currently undertaking Counselling studies online and dream to work with families and young people in the future. I became a student at TUC in 2021 and after getting to know the Taree area and the other staff at TUC, I have been lucky enough to be employed to help with administration on campus. I am honoured to be part of the team and be able to support TUC students on their journeys.

What are you excited about bringing to our Campus?

I have lived all over the place from the NT to QLD and NSW, in rural and remote towns and have undertaken my tertiary qualifications both online and on campus. Because of this, I can resonate with students who use TUC and any tertiary student living in rural areas as I understand the challenges of online study and that sometimes moving to study on campus just isn’t feasible. I benefit so much from using the facilities at TUC when I need motivation, focus and a feeling of connection with other students and the community. I believe TUC helps many other students in the area in similar ways to dream big no matter where they live. I hope to offer compassionate support as a fellow student and continue working with the dedicated staff here at TUC to achieve their goals in benefiting the community.
