Taree Universities Campus (TUC) vision for expansion is now being realised with demolition and new work commencing on the ‘permanent’ campus building at 2 Pulteney Street.

Taree Universities Campus is seeing the New Year in with three reassuring announcements for a bright future. 

Three key achievements indicate that Taree Universities Campus is off to a strong start in 2023: confirmation from the Minister for Education, the Hon Jason Clare MP of ongoing ‘fair and appropriate’ Federal Government funding; the appointment of a new key staff member; and further expansion of the Board. 

Ahead of its move to a larger premises, Taree Universities Campus is looking to grow its numbers…

Announcing it’s launching a new project focused specifically on Indigenous culture, as the campus celebrates its second anniversary, and the first crop of graduates.

CareerQuip: something new for '22

CareerQuip is set to open the gates to over 2000 students and the general public on Thursday July 28.

This event is the first of its kind for the Mid Coast region and was born as a response to COVID style restrictions and a genuine desire to involve community. The 2022 Lower North Coast Careers Expo will move beyond the school environment to become CareerQuip, offering a genuine learning experience for the students of the Mid Coast.

Taree Universities Campus (TUC) now has a permanent home and is set for expansion after LYNE MP Dr David Gillespie announced success in a $5.5 million application to the Federal Coalition Governments’ Black Summer Bushfires Fund.

At Taree’s 2022 Australia Day Awards held at the Manning RiverStage, Hailey Trudgeon was awarded Young Citizen of the Year, from a group of five finalists. Hailey received the award from Dr. David Gillespie, MP in the Combined Service Clubs of Taree Awards ceremony.

Students will receive a financial scholarship from MidCoast Council valued at $7466 towards their tertiary study costs.
