TUC Student Donna Sheridan: Early Champion Completes Degree with Honours

Written By Meredith Paige

L to R: Campus Coordinator Evan Weller, Donna Sheridan and CEO Donna Ballard.

22 September 2026 • We’re delighted to share that one of our earliest students - and champions of our Campus - Donna Sheridan graduated today with a Bachelor of Social Work from Charles Sturt University. Notably, her dedication earned her the Executive Dean's Award in Session 2, 2025, recognising outstanding academic performance.

An early champion of TUC, Donna was the most frequent user of our 1 Pulteney Street study facility. She attended almost every day with determination and enthusiasm, setting an example for fellow learners. Her commitment to her studies not only inspired peers but also made a lasting impact on our campus community.

From those first days navigating university study to today's graduation, Donna's journey embodies what's possible when regional students have the right support. As she steps into the social work profession, her empathy, knowledge and passion will serve the Mid Coast community well.

We're proud to have walked alongside her and can't wait to see the difference she'll make.
