About the Role
Reporting to the Business Manager you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on generalist role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with frontline disability support teams and leadership.
This role is part-time, 3 days per week, with flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for NDIS roles, including support workers and leadership positions
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission workforce requirements
• Oversee onboarding, probity checks, and worker screening (NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, Police Checks, etc.)
• Provide advice on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
• Support compliance with Fair Work, Modern Awards, and relevant employment legislation
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS systems
• Assist with training coordination, performance reviews, and workforce planning
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
• Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and staff
About You
• Proven experience in a Human Resources generalist role
• Experience within NDIS, disability, aged care, or community services (highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of NDIS workforce compliance requirements
• Knowledge of Fair Work legislation and Modern Awards
• Confident communicator with a supportive, people-first approach
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Relevant HR qualification (or working towards)
