The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our 64 Bed Acute Medical/Surgical Unit. This is a fast paced and an exciting place to work and the successful candidate will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidenced based care.
Our Nursing Ward is an innovative and dynamic department dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our community. We are committed to providing the highest levels of healthcare services, with a strong focus on leadership and an ongoing outlook on the importance for developing skills for all new staff.
Essential Criteria:
Current registration with APHRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Diploma
Minimum of 1 – 2 years in an acute hospital setting
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Ability to work flexible hours – shift work, on-call and overtime as required
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills

About Forster Private Hospital
Forster Private Hospital is located on the NSW Mid North Coast, providing medical and surgical services to the communities of the Great Lakes and Manning regions.
Our hospital offers accommodation for 64 medical/surgical patients, 2 Operating Theatres, a Day Surgery Unit, Oncology Unit, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Day Therapy Programs and a Hydrotherapy Pool. Radiology and pathology services are available on-site.
We offer a broad range of surgical services, including Dental, Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat, Endoscopy, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Urology.
Our medical services include outpatient Cardiology, Nephrology and Respiratory Medicine. Our Rehabilitation Unit includes specialist physicians and a team of dedicated health professionals.
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthe Care hand NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.
