Describe the opportunity & the ideal candidate:
The Customer Service Officer (CSO) is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders, delivering a welcoming, professional, and responsive front-of-house experience. The role is responsible for managing telephone and in-person enquiries, directing visitors appropriately, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Are there any mandatory requirements for the role?
Certificate III Business Administration, or Certificate III Community Services or similar equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years’ experience (or equivalent skills) in a similar role
A passion for working with families
Knowledge of child protection practices and mandatory reporting guidelines
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Current Class C or above NSW Driver's Licence
Current Employee Working with Children Check
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Working knowledge of workforce management principles, WHS, SCHADS Award and roster optimisation
Demonstrated ability to use databases and the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Personal Attributes:
Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner, with a strong desire to provide high-quality client service
A thorough understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles
Able to work effectively both collaboratively and autonomously
Experienced in managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to think laterally and use initiative
