Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning
Shape sustainable communities right here on the Mid Coast.
UNE's Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning provides the knowledge and skills to critically analyse and solve complex planning problems. The course balances theory with practice, integrating academic knowledge into real-world contexts so you can design communities that balance community, environmental and economic needs.
You'll develop a thorough understanding of land use, social and economic issues, transport, professionalism and ethics, and environmental and planning law. Through practical experience on planning projects, you'll gain the ability to strategise, solve problems and communicate effectively as a planning professional.
This course is fully accredited with the Planning Institute of Australia, ensuring your qualification is recognised across the profession. Graduates can pursue careers in both public and private sectors across urban and regional contexts. On the Mid Coast, planning expertise is valued in local government, community development, environmental consultation and infrastructure planning — where creating liveable, sustainable communities is a priority.
