UNE's Bachelor of Agriculture equips you with practical, production-oriented skills to solve problems and adapt to future challenges in the agricultural industry. Choose from three production-based majors — Animal Production, Plant Production, or Mixed Farming — to gain specialist knowledge in the productive management of agricultural landscapes.

Through formal practical experience, you'll apply coursework theory to real workplace situations, developing the technical skillset and hands-on abilities that agricultural industries value. Graduates are well-positioned for employment across a range of agricultural sectors, from farm management to agribusiness operations.

On the Mid Coast, where farming, livestock, and crop production are key industries, these skills are in demand across local agricultural enterprises, advisory services, and related businesses.

High-achieving students can undertake Honours research in their fourth year, opening pathways to further postgraduate study.
