UNE's Master of Teaching (Primary) is a graduate initial teacher education program that prepares you for teaching in contemporary primary school environments. Combining theoretical study with practical experience, the course covers literacy and numeracy education, ICT across the curriculum, classroom behaviour management, Aboriginal education, inclusive and special education, and teaching students with English as an additional language or dialect.

Practical experience is built into the course with 60 days of professional experience, including an online demonstration school and 50 days in primary classrooms. You'll also complete a research project to develop your understanding of research principles and methods. Graduates earn a National Primary Specialisation in English/Literacy.
