UNE's Bachelor of Environmental Science provides a broad foundation in the core theories and applied skills that underpin environmental science, with a strong understanding of local and global environmental issues and their management. You'll learn about ecological processes, conservation, and air, land, water, plant and wildlife management.

Choose from majors including Conservation and Ecology, Natural Resources, People and Environment, Vegetation and Landscapes and Applied Management. Multidisciplinary minors in botany, geoscience, zoology, soils, spatial science, water science and more allow you to broaden your scope. A Work Integrated Learning unit and capstone project provide hands-on industry experience.

On the Mid Coast, environmental science skills are valued across local government, environmental management, National Parks, coastal and estuary management, and community conservation — where protecting the region's diverse ecosystems is a priority.
