TUC Contributes to National Research Publication

Taree Universities Campus (TUC) has contributed to a research paper published in the Australian and International Journal of Rural Education, highlighting the impact of Regional University Study Hubs in supporting higher education participation and success across regional Australia.

The paper explores how place-based study hubs help remove barriers to tertiary education by providing local access to study spaces, technology, academic support and student services. It reinforces the important role these hubs play in enabling students to commence, continue and complete their university studies while remaining connected to their communities.

TUC was proud to contribute to the research, sharing insights from its experience supporting students across the Mid Coast region. The publication adds to growing evidence that regional study hubs are improving education outcomes and creating pathways to higher education for people who may otherwise face significant barriers to study.

TUC congratulates all authors and contributors involved in the project and remains committed to supporting regional students to access and succeed in higher education close to home.

The article is available in the Australian and International Journal of Rural Education.
