A Night of Success Shared With Our 2023 Graduands

Our Celebration of Student Success was a brilliant night intended to celebrate the achievements of registered TUC students who had recently completed their studies. With over 40 graduands among our cohort this year 😱 we were joined by many on Wednesday evening to share their stories.

The evening became a celebration of many successes: hosted at our soon-to-be new premises of 2 Pulteney Street, a move that marks the need for our Campus' continued growth and expansion (imagine how many graduands we’ll be accommodating next year!)

We came together overlooking the stunning Manning River, a great reminder of the beautiful part of the world to which we can help bring education, personal development and prosperity.

Our sincere appreciation to the local and national representatives who shared their messages of support with us on the night, including guest speakers Senator the Hon Bridget McKenzie, MidCoast Council Mayor Claire Pontin, TUC Chair Dr Alison McIntosh, Tanya Thompson MP and Dr David Gillespie MP.

Also to our university partners - UNE, CQU, CSU & UoN - who work alongside us to help the dreams of our residents become a reality.

A huge thanks to the supporters and service providers from right here in our local community who helped make a heartfelt lifelong memory for our graduands - our musicians Jack Balderston, Chelsea Harvey and Byron Nicholson, Jake Davey for his photography & videography, and Dundaloo for catering in truly delicious style! (And to the tireless contractors who were helping us ready the room right up until the final hours - thank you!)

To the TUC team, who rallied together to make the evening look, sound and feel so heartwarming and memorable - we have certainly assembled our own kind of avengers here at the Campus! πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈ

And to our graduands - thank you for allowing us to be part of your education journey. It's truly a privilege to have walked beside you during your time as part of our organisation. We wish you all the very best with what is sure to be an exciting future, and we can't wait to see how your newfound skills will take you further close to home.
