Vocational Pathways: FREE Parent Information Session

Join us to explore and understand the diverse routes from high school to further education and fulfilling local careers. Whether your child is interested in hands-on trades, industry certifications, or a blended approach leading to university, we'll show you how to build a plan tailored specifically to them.

Designed for parents of high school students (e.g. Years 8–11), this session will help you and your child discover education pathways tailored to their interests, learning style and career ambitions.

What to Expect:

  • Learn about Vocational Education and Training (VET) - School Based Apprenticeships & Traineeships (SBATs), Technical and Vocational Education Pathways (TVET) and non-school-based apprenticeships. 

  • Understand the different RTOs (including the role of NSW State Training Services)

  • Real Stories: Hear directly from industry employers and student ambassadors about their journeys.

  • Learn how vocational training can be a powerful springboard for next steps

  • Q&A Session following the presentation


Light refreshments will be provided - attendance is free but registration is essential.
