The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) qualifies you to teach across the Australian Curriculum from Prep to Year 6 in primary schools, and in early childhood settings including long day care, kindergartens and pre-prep. With supervised professional practice blocks throughout the course, you'll apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings to prepare for employment.
The course meets the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (Graduate Career Stage) and qualifies you for professional registration. An English specialisation provides 'in demand' knowledge and skills.
Graduates can pursue teaching roles in primary schools and early childhood contexts throughout Australia. On the Mid Coast, these qualifications are valued across local primary schools, preschools, childcare centres and community kindergartens.
