What is your professional background & experience?

I started out working in banking where I loved helping people work out budget planning and smart money management towards realising their financial goals. Next, I worked in local government which gave me an opportunity to do some very meaningful and rewarding work with people in significant transitional times of life. Now alongside my work with TUC I work part-time at a local high school as a Senior Support Co-ordinator. In that role I am privileged to be a part of the educational journey of some very impressive local young people who I know have bright futures. Who knows, maybe they will even study degrees through TUC!

What are you excited about bringing to our Campus?

As we’re still in the early stages of our growth it is exciting to work collaboratively as a team building together towards the vision of TUC. I can see how important it is for our area that local people have this opportunity to stay local while studying. I get excited when sharing ideas about new and different ways to engage and support students into the future. I work as ‘Campus Administration’ which means learning about and helping set up systems that will allow us to grow as a campus community. It is exciting to be a part of forming the foundation of ‘person centred’ systems that will sustain the TUC learning community as it grows. I’m also excited to get to know people in the local schools and community and to grow with this organisation while furthering my own studies toward counselling.
